Experience the process of handmade wooden spoons and make one yourself!

The process begins with choosing a suitable piece of wood, which is first turned into a rough blank. You will learn how to use different hand tools to refine the profile and carve the cavity of the spoon. To finish, the spoon is contoured for the very best ergonomics and comfort.

More information about the experience: Participants will use hand tools to shape, carve and finish a wooden eating spoon. The process begins with choosing a suitable piece of wood, which is first turned into a rough blank using an axe and handsaw. The profile is further refined with spokeshaves, knives and drawknives. After this, the cavity of the spoon is carved using a gouge and hook knife. To finish, the spoon is contoured for the very best ergonomics and comfort.
